Decatur Grown-Ups

Welcome to the Decatur Dolphins! Join us for practices or meets, or both!

We will begin group practices on May 16th. Mostly Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at Midway Pool in Decatur, but 5 Monday evenings at Emory SAAC pool.  See practice tab for more details.   

We are not set up to be a learn-to-swim program, but if you can swim some laps, all abilities and backgrounds are welcome.  Team members range in age from 20's to 70+--with experience ranging from former college swimmers, former summer league swimmers, and those who started swimming laps as an adult.

In the summer of 2025, the Decatur Dolphins won the Runners-Up Trophy in the Small Division Atlanta Championship of World meet. Check out our Instagram to see the fun we had.

You have a few options for the summer:

• Want to just do meets? We'd love to have you--you only need to pay the League fee.  Pay Grown-Up Swim League Fee: Payable to Grown-Up Swimming via the green Registration button on the Decatur GUS Home page above.

$55 Swimmers ages 25+ (goes up $10 after May 16th) 
$35 Swimmers ages 18-25 (goes up $10 after May 16th)

• Want to practice with the group?  See Practice tab for details.  Pay a Team Practice Fee or a Drop-in rate.  After initial trial practice, you must also pay the League fee in order to do group practices, as that provides the necessary insurance for the pool rental.
